French-born  ARAE  crafts  trap-pop  anthems  in  order  to  demolish  societal  taboos. Mirroring  the  anxieties  of  her  generation,  her  lyrics  address  issues  such  as  mental  health,  climate  change  and  gender  inequality.  ARAE is also a synesthete artist and she manifests  through  her  ability  to  assign  colours  to  music in her immersive concert 'Chromesthesia: The Planetarium Show'.

In 'Arras', ARAE rediscovers her hometown. By paying tribute to a place that she rejected while growing up, she now wants to show the importance of turning back and appreciating where you come from. In this song, the artist calls for her memory like a mantra to better explore her mental town. No lies, no hiding, she can finally make peace with her memories.
At a time when artists post multiple TikToks every day in the hopes of launching their career overnight, ARAE questions the role of art on social media. To further delve into this topic, ARAE launched 'Drowning on the Internet': a podcast on artist digital burnout and social media.

Chromesthesia : The Planetarium Show

In ARAE's universe, colours hold an important role. Wanting to share her vision with others, she created an immersive planetarium concert aiming at making you see what it is like to hear colours. The concept is to perform her songs live while visuals reflecting the colours, shapes and movements she feels are projected on the 360° ceiling screens.
On June 9 & 10, 2021, ARAE performed the show for the first time to a sold-out audience at the Hemisféric, in Valencia (Spain).

More about ARAE
ARAE can be find somewhere between Billie Eilish's musicality, Greta Thunberg's activism drive and the colourful Marvel Universe. She is driven by the idea that the world could be improved with a little kindness and a lot of social awareness. Fascinated by heroes and superheroes, she aspires to become a "pop music vigilante" and help society through her art.

Drawn to the English-speaking culture from a young age, the Northern French-native started her career in the United Kingdom aged 17, where she studied songwriting at BIMM Brighton. In this artistic laboratory, ARAE was able to experiment with genres and cemented her sonic identity in synth-pop. Understanding that a music career goes beyond simply making music, ARAE was a regular of London's networking events for years until she decided to get a professional music industry education. She then graduated from Berklee College of Music Valencia Campus with a Masters in Global Entertainment & Music Business.

Although she is now based in Paris, France, ARAE maintains a close bond with the international scene. In 2022 alone, she performed in Spain and in England, recorded a live session in a Japanese garden in Mexico City and released a track in collaboration with asl33p, a Polish rapper.
